INTRODUCING - Misfires

Despite only being around for a relatively short amount of time, Swindon four piece Misfires have made an impact most young, up and coming bands can only dream of. Made up of Matt (vocals, guitar), Mert (guitar), Jake (bass) and James (drums), Misfires have been dubbed by Spilt Milk magazine as the next indie superband.

Currently, Misfires only have two recorded songs available to stream/download; 22 and Coming Home. Both tracks have Catfish worthy build ups and a vibe that can only be likened to The Libertines. Coming Home with its dance worthy chorus and bellowing vocals, and 22 with its fast paced intensity really encapsulate Misfire's music. Two very different tunes but a strong undertone that seems to be unique to them.

As far as gigs go, the band are playing Vibe Showcase Live at the Liverpool O2 Academy on the 17th of December and are in the midst of planning dates for January 2017 in Manchester, Brimingham, Cardiff, Oxford and London.

If Misfires keep doing what they're doing, there's really nothing to stop them becoming the next big thing in the indie scene, so watch out!
